FERTILITY: Are you trying to fall pregnant? Our doctors review fertility consultations as part of the team at the Cairns Fertility Centre. We offer expert fertility care with our embryologists, nursing and medical team. The Cairns Fertility Centre is next door to the Birds of Paradise Plaza Nest.

Dr Anusha Lazarri and Dr Lisa Doble continue to offer private obstetric antenatal care and private delivery for our patients at the Cairns Private Hospital. Dr Anusha and Dr Lisa both support planned vaginal birth, planned induction of labour, planned elective Caesarean section and planned Vaginal Birth After Caesar (VBAC). Dr Lisa and Dr Anusha are expert in the management of normal and high risk pregnancies and deliveries.
Our midwifery team offers early pregnancy care, including pregnancy viability scans, for patients in the first trimester with additional support for the remainder of your pregnancy. We offer private antenatal and postnatal midwife services with special lactational support, including weekly midwife review. Our midwife appointments are bulkbilled to Medicare for our pregnant and postnatal patients.
Dr Elizabeth Jackson offers antenatal obstetric care only with transfer of deliveries to Dr Anusha or Dr Lisa if planning to deliver privately, or to the Cairns Public hospital if planning to deliver publicly. Dr Jackson also provides antenatal care to patients planning to deliver at hospitals outside of Cairns. Unfortunately our obstetricians are unable to offer share care for planned home birthing.
